Didn’t Rich Hill pitch for the Orioles in like 2005

Hill pitched for the Orioles in 2009.

Interestingly, he faced the Red Sox once that season.  It was his worst outing of the year, as he gave up nine runs in 3 1/3 innings pitched.

And he did not lose the game.  That was the game where the Orioles fell behind 10-1, then came back with five in the seventh and five more in the eighth to win, 11-10.

And now an error on a simple routine play.  Cut him now.  This experiment is over.

I know he's just getting the veteran minimum salary, but can one Baltimore sports media member ask the O's why they signed him in the first place? None of Odor playing poorly is a surprise to anyone.

This is Colby Rasmus all over again.

Except Colby was good enough to quit.
