This is ridiculous. This team simply cannot score runs in the first inning. Horrible at bat by Santander. You have to make this pitcher work.

It was down, but the real strike zone is just a suggestion for these umpires. Probably too close to take though, and he let one go at the top of the zone earlier in the count.

It was a clearly a ball.  But Mountcastle had a fastball down the middle in a 3-1 count and couldn't do anything with it.  That bothers me more than the bad call.

Low strike calls are infuriating.

Home plate umpire: Look at where his knees are.  Remember it.

He's not going to grow or shrink during the course of this at bat, so there's the bottom of your strike zone.  It shouldn't be that hard, but apparently it's the most challenging part of calling the game.
