Cleveland vs. San Diego would be a great World Series.  A team that hasn't won since 1948 vs. a team that has never won.

That was a fun series and Harper was epic…plus all my Philly relatives have gone berserk. But it kinda makes me wonder what the point of the other 162 games is? The  reactionary in me pines for the days of “let’s see who is better: the best regular season AL team or the best regular season NL team” of course, there are countless good reasons in favor of this format. But it still feels a bit unsatisfying…like a sugar high.
