Cakes was tempting due to our current needs, but I went with Frank.  Besides being the middle-of-the-order stick we need, he'd also bring all of the intangibles needed to push a young team to the top, something he'd already proven.

If choosing Frobby means his Cincinnati years are included, then sign me up. I chose Palmer because of the need of pitching. I don't want to see the likes of Adam Eaton and Omar Daal pitching for us again.

I, obviously, adore JP. And he is the obvious choice from a positional need standpoint. But I vote for Frank Robinson. Frank was the undisputed leader of the great late 1960's-early 1970's teams. His impact in the clubhouse was nearly as important as his impact in the batter's box. He made everyone around him better.

You really can't go wrong with either choice. 

 

Palmer is probably the most needed, but there's something about this lineup with Eddie in the middle that would make me ecstatic. Or Frank for that matter.

If Palmer could throw 300 innings as he did back in his day, I’d definitely take him.   If he’s more of a 200 inning guy in the modern game, I’d probably lean towards Frank.

Earl’s pesky influence & note cards combined with Mejdal’s  analytical department would propel our players to excel beyond expectation. They would have to allow Earl to smoke in the dugout as well as maintaining the Camden Yards tomato patch.

I would have voted Mussina too if he was a choice so I went with Palmer. Tempted to vote for Frank Robinson, but the need for legit number one starter is too glaring for me to ignore.

Kind of a trick question for me obviously Palmer as we need a #1 starter, but who would I rather watch flat out Eddie-the most clutch hitter I have ever seen.  I would love to see Frank but with the new left field wall.....

How am I the only one who voted for Cal? We have a SS with a .260 OBP. Cal had the best season of any Oriole ever, so his prime is the best. Some of y’all are overthinking this. Take the elite SS.
