I was wondering this, too. Since he's been back from the IL, they're not treating him like they were prior to that.

Hicks has been hitting lefties really well this year and has been hot since his return. Cedric never regained his form against lefties that he achieved in 2021. We also need him to get to the playoffs healthy.

Seems like a pretty defensible approach at least for the rest of the regular season. I imagine we might see Mullins later in the game depending on the circumstances.

Generally I agree that Cedric should get every start at CF in the playoffs.

I'm not sure I'd have Mullins start facing lefties in the playoffs after not having faced them for a month+ prior. He needs to stay sharp.
