I think most people would have taken 88-74 when the season started and all that would take now would be .500 the rest of the way.

We are getting into the category of where you can just play .500 ball the rest of the way and win 90 games.  As good as the east is and two teams in west I think 92+ games may be needed to make playoffs.

This may have been noted elsewhere, but every high water mark between 12 and 18 represents the farthest above .500 since the last playoff season in 2016. The 2016 high water mark was +18 at 58-40 (they went 31-33 after that).

Here's hoping they pass +18 soon, and then they'll have a long way to go to catch 2014's high water mark of +32 (95-63).

I'm happy they cleared the 14 that was the high water mark for 2005. Someone needs to write a book about that trainwreck season.
