I was so mad because it was the first game that the temp manager label was removed from Trembley.  And they Orioles just had to suck that bad in spectacular fashion for him.  I always liked Trembley.

I love doubleheaders (single admission ones) so I strongly considered leaving work early and going to that.

But it was kind of cool and damp, at least by August standards, so I decided at the last minute to pass.

It would have been miserable had I gone but it would also be something I would never have forgotten.

I didn't like Gary Thorne because he used to get excited when opposing team got a big hit against the O's. He announced like he was announcing to a National audience.

I don’t think you need to have been there to have never forgotten it. I watched most of it… was miserable to watch at home too lol.
