I think you underestimate Elias and his patience for Mateo.   Its like Mateo has blackmail photos on John Angelos.  Come hell or high water they are going to see what we have in Mateo regardless of prospects in AAA.

I’m not sure anytime believed in his start. He’s just not a guy who can recognize breaking pitches, and he doesn’t have a ton of power.

He an excellent defender. He is also a sub par hitter. I just don’t see it.
