I know teams have gotten away from this now with expanded pitching staffs with a preference for bench players who can play multiple positions.

With the Orioles current make up, I think you can justify a Mountcastle/O"Hearn platoon at 1B right now. Maybe that changes later during the season due to roster composition or performance.

I am not confident in Cano here. He has been getting hit hard, especially by first hitter lately.
