It directly impacts the Orioles, so I think it belongs here. I am not making any accusations. I am an anonymous fan on a message board (just like you) saying that there is something fishy about those home and away records.

I have no stats, it just strikes me as odd. I have been watching baseball for a long time and it's just odd.

Maybe he is insinuating that the home field advantage of batting last is unfair, as compared to other sports.  Perhaps hockey is as well, giving the home team the last line change for match-up purposes at each resumption in play.
