I updated the original post with the lineup change.   Aaron Hicks a late scratch.   Cowser moves from LF to CF to replace him, and Frazier to LF.

Will be interesting to see how well he does there (Frazier, I personally haven't seen him there before) to see if this is a way to keep all the young guys in the lineup.

I am scratching my head over the decision to play Frazier in LF.

Hays has not played since Sunday. This will be the 4th game in a row that he's missed. If he's injured, IL him. It would be retroactive to Monday and he would be back in time to start the 2nd half next Friday against the Marlins. It would at least allow them to bring up another bullpen arm for the time being.

Mullins is coming off the groin injury and they want to be careful with him so I understand the need for him to DH. But you would think because of the Hicks scratch, Mullins would play CF.

Obviously we don't know what is wrong with Hicks. But if it is serious enough, Elias can put him on IL and bring up Mountcastle. Still prolonging the inevitable where Elias is gonna have to make a decision on (Frazier, Mateo, O'Hearn, Hicks) as far as who is gone when Mountcastle is recalled.
