I have been hearing that when the Oakland and Tampa Stadium issues are resolved MLB is going to 32 teams.  I have been hearing the Orioles will not be in this division in the plans they are coming up with.  Heard they might ditch the American and National Leagues and make a division with the Mets and Yankees and Boston and Phili.  So we might not be in the hardest division for much longer.

I think that MLB doesn't have it's act together enough to speculate on what a 32 team league would look like.

I’m kinda shocked they didn’t let the lefty pitch to Gunnar at least.

Seriously. If Hyde had ignored a 300+ point OPS platoon difference (as Gunnar has) and immediately watched the ball fly out of the park, the pitchforks would have been out instantly!

Everyone fields at 98%.  How is it useful. Zero errors.

So how is it useful?  Your turn.  I'm open minded.

I don't think you are, but in this instance I was being sarcastic.

Of course fielding percentage isn't a very useful stat.

Anyone that knows what WAR is knows that.

WAR? What is it good for? Absolutely, nothing!

You are probably correct.  This was in an article I read about a week ago.  I personally think the odds of getting MLB to ditch the American and National Leagues is going to be hard.  But they say they want the Yankees and Mets,  the Cubs and the White Sox, the Angels and the Dodgers and Texas Rangers and Astros to play each other in divisional play.  We will see.
