Optioned for pitching stupid.   If he wants to come back he should either learn to throw the changeup for strikes or ditch it all together.

Hate to see somebody lose a job but he’s just been terrible. I expected him to go down if we added anybody

Agreed. That was clearly about fatigue IMO.

He really looks like he's just throwing out there. Some silly sequences. Fastball velo fluctuates all over. I hope he comes back throwing 100 like he did late last year because that guy is pretty fun, and he would probably get away with more mistakes.

I think I read this year he's like #2 in inherited runners allowed. We can't have that nonsense. 

This does highlight why it's disappointing we couldn't land another bullpen arm, however.

They're just giving him a break to try and control his innings and likely convert to a BP role.

I’m not surprised, but I also expect a bit of a revolving door over the last two months.  He’ll probably be back.
