He's had 158 AB's with RISP now, the odds have worked out .722 % of the time.

You still don't get how this works. Yes, the best hitters in MLB fail 70% of the time. The odds would have been better had they pitched to the next weak-hitting guy with two outs and the force at the second and third bases.

Bautista and Webb probably not available.

Baumann has pitched on back to back days 11 times this year so he should be available (he had 8 scoreless outings in those 11 times, and allowed 1 run twice, and two runs once... which was Wednesday).   It would be his 4th outing in 6 days.

Cano is probably available after going an inning yesterday.

Fuji and Vespi obviously available.

Perez would be going his 2nd straight day and 4th out of 5, but he only threw 9 pitches last night.  He could face a lefty or two.

So that's what we've got to work with...

You're making that up, but I'll concede and pretend that you are right. I've been defeated, we no longer have to discuss this issue now that you've won. OPS+ of 99 > OPS+ of 113, copy that.

It's not a question of winning and losing, this is a discussion among passionate fans. The only reason I am posting this is because I am still ticked off that they surrendered the lead there. No other reason.

Suarez has a .711 OPS.

THe "next weak hitting guy" Cal Raleigh has a .758 OPS (and is a switch hitter, Bradish doesn't have extreme splits but he still has a .072 better OPS vs RH than vs LH).

Lots of guys who can blow up.  It's going to take some big performance from unexpected guys and some luck to win this game.

Okay, I shouldn't have said "weak-hitting" but he's not lighting the world on fire either. I would still take my chances with him in that situation.
