What is Alex Cora smoking?  Statistically with one out,

Man on second, .7 expected runs in inning, allow no runs percentage: 58%.

Man on first and second, .94 expected runs in inning, allow no runs percentage: 57%.

It's objectively a bad move in pretty much every scenario except ".500 OPS guy with sky-high ground ball percentage on deck."

Santander and O’Hearn would have gotten to it while looking as uncomfortable as possible. You’re right about Cowser, though - that guy is the king of letting balls that he should catch drop in front of him.
