Kremer had a good 4th and didn't pitch that badly in the 5th.   If not for the defense he could have gone 5 and left with a 5-3 lead.

It was a bad hop. It happens. 

Of course, I was taught, always get in front of the ball. If it bounces off of your chest (neck or nose) at least it stays in front of you and you may still be able to make a play. We wore cups then.  We don't see as much of that in today's game.

what a horrific performance by Kremer...I dont care if hes gassed...the great ones...step up in a crucial situation...he failed badly...couldnt even get us 4 freaking innings...

It all started when Santander ridiculously fell down....the ball to Gunnar was hit very hard and took a funny hop, although Gunnar does often make that play
