Because if you are going to have division titles the reward should be equal.

I know this game is basically just for ego and history at this point, but it's frustrating that our offense has been so inept the first half of games. Why has our offense been so inept against starting pitching?

Is it too much to want your team to win the game even if everyone says it does not matter?  I want them to play crisp smart ball.  We have seen none of that today.

I think this lack of hitting is now becoming a REAL concern...its been bad for a while...only yesterday late did we finally start hitting...I hate that we aren't hitting a week before the playoffs...

If only  Fuji could be more like that inning more often. He painted the black with his fastball for the first two hitters, managed to get away with two fastballs down the pipe to Turner, then pulled out a nasty splitter.

I think you're overthinking things. They've been in a pressure cooker for the entire season, they finally get some games where they don't have to show up at 100% intensity and everyone thinks this is what is going to show up next week. They don't want to get hurt, they are just going through the motions in meaningless games for the first time all season.
