They've alluded to this a few times on the White Sox board, but we really just need Montgomery and Snell to get on with it already. White Sox (and in theory Cleveland/Miami/Seattle) should get their best and final offers at that point.

Random hypothetical. Would you trade Kremer in a deal for Cease? Let's say Westburg and Kremer for Cease. Would you view that as enough of an upgrade to do it, or is it just creating another hole? Let's say for the sake of argument the only other arm the O's bring in is like a swingman Irvin type.

I would look at the deal on its own merit and if we can get Cease for that, I’m making the trade.

Lol they're trying, but the White Sox are a lunatic unserious organization. If Elias actually manages to pry Cease away from them for a not-insane package, I will be somewhat shocked.
