We haven't performed well on the big stage recently, that's for sure. What an awful showing. I'm legit shocked he came in dead last.

Honestly Buck didn’t give Gunnar many in the nitro zone (on the ESPN2 “statcast” alternate broadcast they highlighted where pitches were thrown).

I find the home run derby excruciatingly boring.  I hope no Orioles are in it next year so I can go back to skipping it like I usually do. 

By far the highlight of the evening was Gunnar’s Scooby Doo impression.

Now that Gunnar is out of it and nobody I love other than him was in it I find it boring as well right now. I am reading but keeping it on just to see who wins.

Nope.  I got tired of the event 2-3 years in.  Hitting BP fastballs long distances does nothing for me.  

I also thought the introductions were ridiculous and the rendition of the national anthem was awful.   Why we even need to play the anthem at the HR derby is beyond me.  

The good thing about Gunnar losing in the first round is that I was able to switch my TV to a nature show about rabbits.  Far more interesting.
