He only threw a 55% of his pitches for strikes and only missed 6 bats but yet he only let up 5 base runners.

Odd start. Wasn’t really good but it didn’t hurt him either.

Nice show from Kremer today.  Hopefully he'll become more efficient and go deeper into games, but the O's really needed that performance after Grayson's meltdown yesterday.

What did Kremer do to piss off the bullpen? First Cano blows the save after his gem in Pittsburgh, then they turn Kremer's 1-0 game into a blowout in KC, now they do their best to blow a 6-1 lead.

I was kind of amazed he’d thrown 89 pitches in the first five innings, while allowing only one hit and one walk.

They’ve also allowed all three of his inherited runners to score, adding a run to his ERA to date compared to if those runners had been stranded.

18 swings and misses today for Kremer.  I liked how he indicated in post game interview that his pitch mix and sequencing was guided by reading hitters reactions, and he adapted accordingly.  Mixed pitches well, cutter was vastly sharper today. Still hasn’t displayed the nasty splitter from first 2 starts.

I watched the MLB Game Story and one of the highlights showed Dean bending his throwing elbow up and down like he was stretching out his elbow or maybe had some discomfort.

Is his arm OK?

Our SP do seem to have trouble getting that 3rd out in the 6th, but whatever.

He’s really matured as a SP with his pitch mix. He did that yesterday without his curveball. He tried to get the curveball going with Renfigo but ended up walking him.

He said after the game that he has five pitches, and if any three of them are working on a given night, he can mix them up enough to get batters out.

Someone needs to tell Kremer to stop punching the wall in the dugout with his pitching hand after his outings.

Seems like the recipe for a high floor guy who can be a starter in this league for a long time.

Each of his last two games, when he got pulled, he is shown on TV in the dugout and he is mad and punching the wall in front of the dugout.
