He missed a lot of calls but the worst was the 3-0 pitch to O’Hearn.  That cost us a minimum of one run and Mounty with the bases full.  That pitch wasn’t even close.

What I've never understood was how is there zero recourse for an egregiously bad performance by an ump? But a player/manager fear a hefty fine if they dare criticize them?

There should be an incentive structure in place of some kind for accurate calls. I think most would prefer an accurate ump to a robot.

I like the idea of a borderline strike going our way or ball, but missing out on runs or giving up runs due to egregious calls needs to end.
