I remember when David Sequi was a decent player and ended his career with a serious hand injury sliding head/hand first into home.

Cal never slid head first, and wouldn't have been the iron man if he did.

Was that before or after the O's signed him?  Did he go on the IL for the sunburn injury?

There is a rule, because of Weaver.

Two rules actually.

Weaver is why catchers can't use a glove and why the mitts are limited in size.

I don't know, I just remember a game last year when the other guy had a mitt that was ridiculously long.

Kevin Millar  - Cowboy up!  I don't mind head firsts, but sometimes it's not a good idear.
