O's Acquire Thyago Vieira

Brewers did not want to pay Vieira the 500K left on his contract is my guess.    O's assume that cost  while buying Rodriguez.    The O's have seen enough of Stalling to know he was not going to help them in the majors.     JMO

O's are likely to DFA  Vieira and see if he will accept an assignment to AAA.

There is the winner.  We liked the lottery ticket and to get him we basically took on Viera’s contract.  I am not sure they will DFA him right away he does throw hard so maybe they see something they can fix but if not it isn’t much of a loss.

you asked why O’s are cheap , if you google Peter & John Angelos, you will find the answer

A better question is what do we like with Vieira.  I don’t see a lot there.

Right, should have just kept Yohan if we wanted a live arm that can't pitch.

I actually think this is really interesting. Vieira is a stuff guy with control problems. We’ve seen it work with this regime before.

And not work.

I'd rather not have them working on projects during the season when the window is open.

Rubenstein just bought the O's from. Angelos family.  John Angelos was acting owner and was trying to enrich himself with income of O's.  It's too quick to judge Rubenstein when he didn't control O's in offseason.
