My problem with the call is, okay you called him out because you think the tag beat him. You review it and can obviously see he gets in before any tag. At this point it’s possible he doesn’t stay on the base thru the tag but it’s impossible to tell. So, you’ve established that he gets in before the tag, why isn’t the call overturned?

 Bottom line on these reviews, replay officials should have no knowledge of the call on the field. Just like in the NFL, the officials don’t want to overrule the on field umps/officials.

Mountcastle got a base hit, but he missed the chance to launch a meatball towads the fence.

Not sure why their second baseman went to second rather than first on that play, they only threw Mountcastle out by the width of a proton

Crawford is kind of getting away with murder tonight.  Except for the pitch Gunnar destroyed.  Feels like we should have knocked him out of this game.
