I was just thinking of Angel Hernandez, and how he will be remembered as a terrible umpire, and then I thought of Ron Luciano, who’s the only other umpire I can remember, and he was remembered for being playful and endearing.

I just finished installing a handles set in my front door and it’s Miller time, and I’m thinking of weird stuff like old umpires
