The win tonight in game 161 allowed the 2023-24 Orioles to reach 191 wins, tied with the 1964-65 and 1965-66 teams for the 7th most wins in consecutive seasons. With a win tomorrow, they could move up to a tie for 5th. Tonight’s win also gave the O’s 275 wins over the last 3 seasons, tied for 11th with the 1975-77 and 1976-78 O’s. They could move into a tie for 10th with a win tomorrow. -

I think the template is probably the Santander walkoff vs the Giants where Seranthony starts the inning and gets 3 batters. If he is in trouble, bring in Soto or Coulombe for the next lefty. So it's Seranthony but he's on a short leash. -
As long as Cowser finishes top 2 in the voting we get the extra pick right? -

I agree on Soto and Dominguez. I like them. They need to improve command to be reliable back end guys. Pretty solid, but still too many walks currently. Coulombe and Webb are getting more expensive. Akin is getting a pay raise. I don’t believe Bautista is arb eligible, not quite yet. I am not sure how much they want to spend on the pen. Many key players are getting pay raises as well. Do they bring Santander back? Do they move on from Cedric Mullins? Do they pursue Burnes? Gunnar and Adley are arb eligible, I believe. So, it should be interesting to see what they do. -

If you eliminate the1981 season( only fair), dating back to 1968, you have the O’s winning 90 in 13 out of 15 seasons including 5 with 100 or more -

The Dodgers have won an 11th division title in the last 12 years. That is an epic accomplishment no matter how much money you have to blow. It’s kinda insane. Yeah, there is only that pandemic World Series. But the playoffs have become an idle amusement of rando players getting hot and Hall of Famers going cold—it is super fun to watch though.
