Is it possible for the Yanks to clinch tomorrow if we lose?  Might be worth losing just to have that over with before we get to NY honestly

No, because if we finish tied with the Yankees, we will have won the season tiebreaker over them. So down 6 with 6 to go wouldn’t be enough to clinch.

Gotcha. So we will almost certainly be watching them celebrate in a few days. Because we ain’t sweeping them, you can bet the house on that.

we might be playing the tigers again in the first round of the playoffs,they have 1 more game here then 6 at home against tampa and chicago white sox.tomorrow is a important game just to try to get the team going in the right direction

They’ve also won 1 of their last 12 series that weren’t against CHW or COL. Yeah there were three 4 gamers and a 2 gamer in there, but it would be nice to win a series against an actual baseball team again.

For what it’s worth Orioles may not have much of a chance to celebrate. SEA is up 5-2 in 6th tonight. 

If they clinch a WC in NY do you celebrate? I guess if division is over with.

The best they may do and I mean the best is win 1 game. The Orioles suck but they are pretty decent in winning 1 game in a series

Yeah I guess they will but it will feel kind of silly if the Yanks clinch the division at their expense and the Orioles only clinch just the WC. It's almost like see scoreboard or in this case see standings.

Even if SEA wins tonight, wouldn't the Orioles clinch tomorrow if they win and SEA loses?
