This could be an amazing move and, also, he is Arb-1 after the year.  All of these people acquired at the deadline we also have next year…. I think this is very very good dealing by Elias!

I remember how excited Mike Elias was to get Seth Johnson 2 seasons ago. He traded beloved career long Orioles player, Trey Mancini to get him.

Ugh. Another guy who walks everyone. How do you use a guy like that in late innings, in high-leverage spots, in playoff games?

Guess you can never tell until they’re actually on the field. I hope.

Seth Johnson will be 26 in September and is walking 4.8 / 9 in AA with a sub 2/1 k/bb while taking up a 40-man roster spot. Closer to a DFA candidate than a prospect at this point.

With the Orioles pitching lab Soto might become one of the better bullpen options quickly.
