What happened?!

Volquez lost some of his control, there was an error somewhere, and something else happened in the outfield about two minutes ago that allowed three more runs to score. It's now 9-4 Mets in the bottom of the seventh. I stopped watching the game to watch Lost for the last hour so I have no clue what all happened but I'm kind of glad I switched over since Lost was all kinds of awesome tonight.

Bit of an overstatement here. Would have been nice not to have to go to Sherrill, but every move there was justifiable. I probably would have rather they left Baez in too, but it certainly isn't one of those "You idiot!" moves.

It was justifiable to pull a cruising and stretched out Baez and put Safarte in with an untested Simon starting tommorrow? Sorry I don't think it was, if Baez goes two or three he is unavailible either way and even if Dennis went 1-2-3 going an inning tonight limits his availability for an afternoon game tommorrow.

With the back end of the rotation in its current state DT has to try and save the bullpen as much as possible.

We didn't cruise out of the game, nor put it in the no-doubt bag, but we won. Merely average pitching with our offense and defense can get it done, and Weiters isn't here yet.

They should play the intro (From about the 20 second mark until the 1:30) when Sherrill is coming from the bullpen. I know, ACDC, too non-original, but it would be cool for him to bust through the bullpen wall when the bells are chiming with Brim Reaper flashing on the scoreboard, with a flat O's hat next to it. I am not sure if George is an ACDC fan or not, but this would be great if he was. White Zombie is alright now, so either way.
