Yes this year he has a 2.82 ERA with 27 holds and 5 saves but he hasn’t been good for a year and a half.

And a 3.07 ERA since July 1, 2023, which is around the time he started backing up last year. That marks sits 35th among all relievers during that span. Sits right between Pete Fairbanks (3.05) and Kenley Jansen (3.08).

Cano has to be the most excessively maligned guy on the roster. He’s not Felix. And he’s not a 1.00 ERA guy. But he’s a good pitcher.

And Hyde constantly puts him in the absolute hardest situations.  He faces the middle of the order all of the time.

I guess I only watch him on days he looks like a deer in the headlights and sucks. Lol

By back end, you mean Bautista. After his arm nearly fell off for over-use, the bullpen was just as disastrous as this year. Perhaps a tad better, since this one is off the charts.

Last years pen.
Bautista 1.48 era
Wells 3.64 ERA
Cano 2.11 era
Baummann 3.76 era

Perez 3.54 era

Coloume 2.81 era

Baker 3.60era

Webb 3.27 era

Hall 3.26 era

what a disaster not one guy with Era over 3.76.   Do you actually watch this team or just stay on message boards complaining and not know anything?

Cano is the best reliever in this sorry bullpen, but in most contending teams, he wouldn't be pitching with a lead late.

To answer your question, I watch this team. Show the stats after Bautista left. Season stats are irrelevant with respect with my post.
