All year long, Hyde pulls relievers after very short outings and winds up using too many.   It's his biggest flaw as a manager, IMO.

I have dramatically reduced my watching of them to just the minimum.  My nerves can not take much more of these losers.

And of course after the error, Akin just doesn't allow the tying run (like on a sac fly), he gives up a bomb.  Game over, all she wrote.

You can’t trust Akin. Both things can be true: Jackson stunk, Akin lost it.

Holliday gets way too much a of pass for being young. Jackson Merrill is a whole 8 months older than Holliday and is batting .287, 23 HRs, 83rbis.. that’s what a top prospect should be doing. Even half as good as that would be acceptable.

Except his pitch selection likely changed to encourage a ground ball for a double play.
