Hays was the only one who would impact the chemistry of the MLB team. Your narrative makes zero sense. I do believe the chemistry factor is off but little/nothing to do with the trades

Scott Harris traded Flaherty for his current starting SS that is playing quite well, having replaced the lifeless Javier Baez in the lineup.  I don't know what else he got, but its a win of a trade even just for that - not to mention that the Tigers staff has subsequently become one of the best in the league since that trade.  I don't think pointing to that trade is any evidence, at all, against my point.

Unless they pick it up and make a run I don’t even want to see this team in the playoffs. It’s gonna be interesting to see what comes out after the season and internal problems that were going on. It’s more than just injuries at this point.

There is no excuse the way our batters approach their at bats.  No effort to try to build a rally, even small ball.  I think we need a new manager and coaches next year.

There is such a hopeless vibe with this team now.  Pitching is not great but more than good enough to win with a good offense.   No confidence from the players, horrible approaches when runners get on base.
