am i the only one who gets really pissed when our pitcher struggles and then our hitters go out the next inning and start swinging at the first pitch? roberts, reimold, and markakis are out in 5 pitches. FIVE! anyone want to bet the tigers score this inning? our hitters do this all the time and it was on display in full force last weekend against boston.

Yup. This would be mandatory for me if I were a manager, after a long defensive inning: with the exception of when you're offered the meatiest, on-a-tee type meatball, everyone takes a strike.
