I at least hope to see a Dodgers/Cards NLCS. That way I will be able to go to STL in order to see the games.

A Cards-Rangers series would be closer. Why would you want to see the Bums anyhow? :)

If the season were over right now, Cards would play the Rockies and the Dodgers would host the Phillies, but things could change significantly by Oct 4th.

If you're interested in attending any playoff games in St. Louis, you should go to the Cardinals website and register for the lottery to buy tickets. They're accepting registrations until Sept. 18th if I recall correctly. Regardless of when you register, your odds of being able to buy tickets are as good as any other non-season ticket holder. Otherwise, you'll need to use stubhub and probably pay considerably more. If you buy the tickets and then can't attend, you'd probably get your money back.

Would have to cheer for a Dodgers/Rangers WS then.

Good enough. I was hoping the connection was in St. Louis, so that I could attempt to exploit it. :)

It is whom the thread is about. Got a few people in STL that I know, though probably no inside connection there. Might be able to hook up someone for next year's series.
