My impression is that once you've had TJ surgery you're unlikely to need it again. If that's true then Beato is actually less of an injury risk than most of the other pitchers in the draft.

And he's already pitched for 2 seasons following his TJ surgery.

Gee and if D Cab ever harnesses his stuff we have a # 1 starter. If we had 3 or 4 D Cab's in our farm system we'd be in great shape. :SuN037:

Interesting that so far we are going young. We won't see either of our top 2 picks in the majors for 3-4 years. What does that say about the Orioles' strategy for the next 2-3 years at the big league level?

Angelos is going to spend tons of money on free agents so we can have a good team.

or

It's going to be a long 3-4 years.
