Andruw Jones from bad to worse

Just saw this (realize it's a little old). He signed with the White Sox for 500K I know he's done poorly, but a drop to 500K??? Even if he could come back from it, that man must be a mess in his head.

It's still more than he is worth. He's fat, slow, and can't hit. Classic example of disappearing skills after the steroids era. He needs to get some self respect and just go away.

Well he did hit 17 homeruns in 281 at bats last leason and stole 5 bases in 6 attempts so hes not that slow and considering he was used mostly off the bench last season with spot starts he still showed good power (.459 slugging percentage) so I think you're being a little harsh to the man. He did have about the same batting average as Carlos Pena last year (.220 or so)

Nope, never heard of any connections, just simply noted the coincidence. Didn't realize he did that well last year, good for him. The two years he played in LA my Grandmother could have out hit and out run him.
