Not sure if there is a statistic, but the O's pitchers 'waste' pitches on 0-2 and 1-2 that are so far out of the strike zone that it is ridiculous. Not anywhere close to tempt anyone to protect the zone.

I think Wieters needs work behind the plate. The target for the pitcher is very late in the windup.
