According to the New York Post, owner George Steinbrenner has handed over control of the Yankees to his sons Hank and Hal as his health gets worse.

George Steinbrenner, 77, was only able to go to three games this season because of his health. "George has taken on a role like the chairman of a major corporation," team president Randy Levine told the Post. "He's been saying for years he's wanted to get his sons involved in the family business." They'll likely establish his sons roles when they meet on Tuesday.

I am not sure if this is of any significance yet.
