He needs innings this year or his innings for next year will have to be capped. Not like they were shooting rockets all over the place and put up a 5 spot on him.

If he were in the minors, he'd be shut down after an inning like that. What's the difference at this stage of the season in the majors with such a young arm.

Okay, how bad did that look? Matsuzaka threw eight pitches INCLUDING the (first-pitch) single to Izturis. From Gameday some of those pitches looked great to swing at, but were the results really lame-looking? I need to know....
