For anyone who missed the action (Reader's Digest version):

Top of first: Roberts leadoff single to right. Walk to Markakis, Roberts to second. Wigginton flyout to center, Roberts to third. Scott sac fly to center, Roberts scores. Wieters flyout to right. Orioles 1, Red Sox 0.

Bottom of first (in progress, ugh): Walk to Scutaro (bad idea). McDonald single to center, Scutaro to third. Martinez single to right, Scutaro scores, McDonald to second. Beltre flyout to left, no advance. Lowell strikeout, no advance. Full count to Lowrie....

Get the kid out of there. 40 pitches or whatever in one inning is enough. No need to fool around with such an important piece of the puzzle here.

He needs innings this year or his innings for next year will have to be capped. Not like they were shooting rockets all over the place and put up a 5 spot on him.

If he were in the minors, he'd be shut down after an inning like that. What's the difference at this stage of the season in the majors with such a young arm.
