Jacobsen has alot of potential in the minor leagues, but I have not heard one report mentioning Jacobsen and the major leagues together. If Jacobsen is the main piece of a deal for Hardy you have to take it, even if I do like Izturis.

Jacobson doesn't really have that much potential. He has spent the last season and a half in Frederick. I wonder if Spoone or Patton is the other pitcher.

@SCJBretH i wouldnt jump the gun on Hardy. Twins would prefer to lock down Tsuyoshi Nishioka before making a move, unless they're blown away

Garrett Atkins type signing, but worse because he will be hurt. Worse because they will have keep him all year on the 40 man for the insurance money. We probably resign Izzy and he starts more games than JJ. Sorry folks I know its not what you want to hear. He's a player on the decline bad...really bad and he is injury prone. My guess, he was on the juice no facts to support that. Its all circumstantial evidence...declining numbers and more injuries.
