Never mind, I totally missed that McCann had a reverse split over all of last year. Interesting, especially with Adley underperforming vs RHP in the earlygoing this year. Maybe they should flip roles to an extent if they keep this up. Ultimately I don't much care since McCann generally isn't in there for his bat and should be playing only enough to rest Adley. -
Roy, I’m as unhinged as they come. I get really frustrated when we play games like last night but here’s the deal. The Orioles quite possibly might be the best team in the MLB. We’re going to lose games. We’re also probably going to win 100 games. And that sure beats losing 100 games. -
The Braves have Olson hitting 4th at .198. The (so far) contending Mariners have Haniger at .215 and the Cubs have Morel at .213 -
1. I like Mayo and would love to see him called up 2. @Roy Firestone described Mayo as a patient hitter who doesn’t strike out too much. Ok, but you didn’t mention the 13 walks and 47 strikeouts in 159 PA. That’s a 29.5% K rate and only a 8% walk rate. 3. Roy talks about Mountcastle hitting .200 for the past week which seems pretty silly. Ok, in Mayo’s last week he’s 5 for 29 with 1 walk and 12 strikeouts. -
Stanton did hit 59 HR one year. But after that, he never again came close to that number.

I'm curious why Hyde has Mullins in the lineup tonight. .389 OPS vs LH this year. I mean, as long as Mckenna's on the team he should probably be in a platoon with Mullins.
