How in the world can Vlad swing at the 1-0 pitch after Liriano threw five straight balls to begin the inning? How can Reynolds then swing at the first pitch? He has walked five guys and we made him throw one strike to get three outs that inning.

Yup, it is absolutely pathetic. If Crowley or Trembley were still around, they would be getting lambasted for it too. It is seriously ridiculous. Im not sure how Showalter is allowing it to go on for this long.

I was thinking the same thing earlier today when I saw that we called him up. I thought we had a third one going back a couple seasons, but I think I was thinking of Chad Bradford.
