If the Cards were smart they'd just keep him out until the AS Break and give him the extra rest to make sure he's gonna be ready for the stretch.

You do realize that with modern imaging Doctors can tell with no doubt at all if it is healed or not. I learned that from The Andrews Institute last year. The Bone goes from the early stage of healing to fully Knitted in less than 48 hours and once fully knitted it is as strong as it ever will be. When this step happens varies by individual case based on many factors. So if there was no soft tissue damage and it is knitted why wouldn't you let him play?
