I thought Doumit got a hold of one there but you could tell from his reaction that he didn't get all of it.

Hopefully this makes Jake understand that it's difficult for hitters to get solid contact on his stuff

It might be correct because I have witnessed a real big spread on what I thought was fastballs. 88-91 in the last couple of innings. Then 92-96 on a legit fastball. I think he is throwing all kinds of stuff today.
