I really like the assortment of pitches Arrieta is a throwing, The fastball has a lot of arm side run and has sat 93-96 all day. His cutter is 88-90 and although he's been up with it at times it's been a effective other look. The change has been up too much and has not been very good, but the curveball is a real hammer with late breaking hard movement.

PitchFX shows him throwing 6 pitches today: 4-seam, sinker, cutter, change, curve, slider. Command is always the key though and except for the change he has it today.
