Adam Jones- Where are the homeruns?

Jones has done it again.

A new career high, and the pattern continues (Jones going up in home runs every year since he got here.)

The lone exception was staying even (19 to 19) from 2009 to 2010.

That is what I predicted for you in your 2014 projections thread, and that will keep your pattern going.

Number 21 tonight against the Angels.

Jones is working on it (getting to # 34.)

Number 22 tonight against the Cardinals.

Number 24 tonight against the White Sox.

25 tonight against the Red Sox.

I think that he's going to fall short of keeping his streak going, though.

26 tonight against the Red Sox.

Again, I think that he will fall short of at least equaling or bettering last year's home run total, which would end his streak at 6 years (2008-2013.)

It was a hell of a run, though.

I really hope he makes the push to 30. It's arbitrary but it would really mean a lot for him to keep that streak going.

As long as he makes timely hits and those marvelous defensive plays, I am not worrief about Adam's hone runs. Adam hit a nice 2 run homer Saturday night.

Jones hit his 28th home run of the season last night, in the top of the 9th inning.

A 2-run blast that brought the Orioles to within 1 run, and set the stage for teammate Steve Pearce's round-tripper 2 batters later that tied the game.
