Not that I expect Davis to hit every pitch out (ok, I kind of do, but that's beside the point...) but he seems to be yanking his front shoulder a little more than he did in the beginning of the year. Looks like it's causing him to roll over a little bit.

I remember Davis saying how he's cut down his motion this year at the plate, but he seems to be waving his bat above his shoulder far more today than I remember. He just needs to settle down, keep his stroke compact and minimal, and he'll be just fine.

It would be scored as the third baseman making the put out, but the advanced defensive metrics pretty much ignore the extreme shifts now.
