If we lose tonight we will split this series. Shields murders this team.

You never know in baseball. But I agree its tough to think were going to beat Shields if this is all we could do against Duffy.

Some of us are baseball fans, as well as being Oriole fans. Hard not to appreciate a perfect game, regardless if its against my team or not.

Not exactly sure how I'd feel about a perfecto against the O's, but it's not something to get mad at, IMO. It really is something to appreciate, but watching your team get shut down kinda blows. Bittersweet is the word, I guess.

Now when the mulleted cheater threw a no-no against us for the Sox years ago, I was pissed. First, I hate the Sox. Second, a no hitter, while special, is more common.

The last 8 times Shields has pitched against the Orioles: we have won 5 of the 8 games:

Was just looking up some stats. As bad as our offense has been lately, in the month of May there are still 10 teams who have scored as many or fewer runs. We are also in top half in batting average this month and 5th in home runs. The only conclusion I can come up with is that there are some god awful offenses out there.

Or we have one guy that is carrying us.

I think when your offense is struggling a lot lately the no hitter might cause more frustration than might otherwise be the case.
