Was just looking up some stats. As bad as our offense has been lately, in the month of May there are still 10 teams who have scored as many or fewer runs. We are also in top half in batting average this month and 5th in home runs. The only conclusion I can come up with is that there are some god awful offenses out there.

Only the Royals and Angels have less runs in the AL. They also have by far the lowest walk percentage in the majors (4.6%... Adam Jones-esque). They're also 28th in doubles. But they're 2nd in singles. So while they have a lot of homers the majority are most likely solos.
