I'm not that wowed by us being ranked 16th after 3 Jordan drafts. It's decent, but nowhere near where we need to be considering:

It's funny how everyone would always say "the Yankees are ruining their farm" by all of their trades/signings. Come to find out they are still 5th and seem to be producing a solid player somewhat regularly. That makes me sick, it's just not fair.

To be fair, the organization has tied Jordan's hands by throwing away early round picks on dumb FA signings.

It's probably a combination of things including international scouting and player development/coaching.

I'm not impressed either. After the 2008 season the party line of "the talent's in the lower levels" isn't going to fly anymore. I'm curious who McPhail would hold accountable if the prospects fail to progress to the mid and upper levels.
